Amanda Stevens — Yakima, WA — Stevens & Granados, PLLC

 Amanda Stevens

Amanda Stevens was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. Her only departure was to attend Whitworth College and Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. While attending Whitworth, Ms. Stevens ran both Cross Country and Track and studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain. Ms. Stevens graduated from Whitworth College in 1998 with a double major in Spanish and Sociology. Ms. Stevens then attended Gonzaga School of Law where she graduated in 2001. After graduating Ms. Stevens worked in public service for two years where she studied criminal defense law. Ms. Stevens then began working for a private firm where she practiced both Criminal defense law and Immigration law. Ms. Stevens and her current business partner opened up their own practice, Stevens & Granados, PLLC in 2008.
Currently, Ms. Stevens practices strictly in the areas of Criminal Defense and Immigration Law. Ms. Stevens represents criminal defendants accused of misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, and felonies. Ms. Stevens practices in all areas from local municipal courts to Federal Court. Ms. Stevens is licensed to practice in the Eastern District of Washington, Western District of Washington, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Stevens' vast knowledge of criminal law and the immigration consequences of certain convictions has aided numerous clients to avoid the pitfalls of immigration court and removal proceedings.

In her Immigration law practice, Ms. Stevens has had the opportunity to represent clients in Removal proceedings in Washington, Oregon, California, and Arizona. Ms. Stevens has helped hundreds of people adjust status both for themselves and their loved ones. Ms. Stevens has also successfully defended the removal of numerous clients who now enjoy a legal status in this country.
When Ms. Stevens is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Tamerton Granados — Yakima, WA — Stevens & Granados, PLLC

Tamerton Granados

Tamerton Granados was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She was educated at the University of Washington where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Political Science and French with a minor in European Studies. Ms. Granados worked for the Executive Office for Immigration Review Seattle Immigration Court while attending college. Ms. Granados then attended Gonzaga Law School. After graduating from law school, Ms. Granados moved to Yakima, Washington where she continues to live. Amanda Stevens and Tamerton Granados opened Stevens & Granados, PLLC in August of 2008. 

Ms. Granados is admitted to practice law in the State of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Yakima County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Ms. Granados is fiercely passionate about immigration, family, and the Yakima Valley. She loves traveling, spending time with her husband and children, and skiing. Ms. Granados believes in supporting local causes. She serves on the Board of Directors at Yakima County Volunteer Attorney Services and Yakima Southwest Rotary.
